The department focuses on developing a technical staff trained in the use of the latest medical equipment, under the supervision of a distinguished and qualified teaching staff specializing in radiology and ultrasound. The department accepts graduates from the scientific and biological secondary school tracks. The program is four years long, after which graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiology and Ultrasound Technology. Classes are held in both morning and evening sessions.
